Its unfortunate that these two people, who have taken full advantage of their free meal program have paid back Faneek’s not with kindness but vandalism.
“At Faneek’s, we’ve been investing a great deal of time, effort, and resources into improving our restaurant and creating a welcoming space for our customers. Every upgrade we make is done with our community in mind, and today marked another step forward with the installation of a newly cemented front entrance.”
“While the cement was still wet, two individuals intentionally carved their initials into the freshly finished surface, damaging our property before the work had even been completed.”
“What makes this especially disappointing is that these same individuals have regularly benefited from our Pay It Forward program, which provides free meals to those experiencing hardship through the generosity of our customers and community. The program exists to ensure that anyone in need can enjoy a warm meal with dignity and compassion. Seeing that generosity repaid with intentional damage to our business is discouraging.”
“We believe in second chances and in supporting our community, but we also believe that actions have consequences. As a result of this incident, these individuals will no longer be eligible to receive meals through our Pay It Forward program.”
“Despite this setback, our commitment to our community remains unchanged. We are grateful for the incredible customers who support our small business, respect our property, and help make programs like Pay It Forward possible.”
“We’ll repair the damage, continue improving our restaurant, and keep serving our community with the same dedication we’ve always had.”
“Thank you for standing with Faneek’s. Your kindness and support make all the difference.”
