Dawn Light, 56, of Sutton, was arrested Tuesday and charged with one count of intimidation of a witness, juror, or person furnishing information in connection with criminal proceedings, according to Massachusetts State Police.
Light was taken into custody after allegedly filming outside the Plymouth courthouse, where she said she was trying to get a glimpse of Lindsay Clancy, who is currently on trial in connection with the deaths of her three children.
“To see Lindsay, and I did see her,” Light said. “She was getting picked up by the van.”
Judge William Sullivan had previously issued a strict order prohibiting anyone from photographing or recording jurors. Prosecutors said the alleged violation threatened “the sanctity of the judicial system.”
The incident has emerged as a parallel development in a trial already facing significant challenges, including a deadlocked jury. It has also raised questions about courthouse security, public access and whether outside disruptions could further complicate proceedings as deliberations continue.
