“Thirty-four years ago, I opened the doors to New Boston Bakery with no idea where the road would take me or how many incredible people, friendships, and memories would become part of the journey.” Begins a message posted today on New Boston Bakery’s Facebook page by Jim Souza.
“Today, I’m excited to share that New Boston Bakery is entering a new chapter — but we are NOT closing! The bakery has a new owner, Jared Andreozzi, and I’m happy to say that the traditions, the food, the pastries, and the people you know and love are staying right here.“
From the very beginning, this business has been filled with long days, early mornings, challenges, successes, laughter, and more memories than I could ever count. But the success of New Boston Bakery was never something I accomplished alone.
I want to take a moment to give a very special thank you to my Mom and Dad, who have both passed but were always so passionate about my happiness and success. They did everything they could to help me build this dream, and I will forever be grateful.
To my brother Mike, who was instrumental in the renovations of both the original shop and our current location — thank you.
To my sister Gale, who did everything and anything she could to make sure the day-to-day operation ran smoothly — thank you.
And to John, who became such an important part of this business and helped take it to another level with our full lunch menu — thank you for everything you have contributed.
I also want to thank every employee, past and present, who played a special part in bringing New Boston Bakery to where it is today. Your hard work, dedication, and care have meant more than you know.
And then there are all of you — our customers, neighbors, friends, and supporters.
It’s incredible to think about the thousands upon thousands of people who have walked through our doors over the past 34 years. So many of you became friends, shared pieces of your lives with us, celebrated milestones with us, and genuinely cared about the success of New Boston Bakery. Your support through the years has never gone unnoticed.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. ❤️
Now, I’m thrilled to formally introduce you to Jared Andreozzi, who has purchased New Boston Bakery and plans to continue the traditions that have made this place so special — including the pastries and food items you’ve always enjoyed.

Even better, our current staff is staying on, so you’ll continue to see the familiar faces you know and love. John and I will each be taking two days off each week, so don’t worry — you’ll still see plenty of us around!
Jared also has some new ideas in mind that I think you’re going to love, but I’ll let him tell you all about those himself.
So please, stop in, say hello, enjoy your favorites, and welcome Jared to the New Boston Bakery family.
After 34 amazing years, I’m incredibly proud of what we have built together and excited to see where this next chapter takes us.
New Boston Bakery isn’t going anywhere. The story is simply continuing — with a new chapter, the same heart, and the same community.
Welcome, Jared! We wish you nothing but success and hope New Boston Bakery helps make all of your dreams come true.
Thank you, New Boston, for 34 unforgettable years. ❤️
