Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School regrets to announce that the planned final walkthrough of its existing school building has been canceled due to significant flooding that resulted in a major power outage and the loss of essential building utilities.
Because the building is currently without electrical power, running water, and restroom facilities, it is not possible to safely welcome visitors inside before the school’s transition to its new campus this summer.
Although the walkthrough can no longer take place, the school will host a Community Yard Sale on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the gymnasium. Community members are invited to browse a selection of surplus items and memorabilia from the existing building, available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Please note:
- Restroom facilities will not be available during the event.
- Parking is limited to the student parking lot, which is currently a gravel construction area. Guests are encouraged to use caution when walking on uneven surfaces.
“We know many members of our community were looking forward to taking one last walk through the building,” said Brian S. Bentley, Superintendent-Director. “We sincerely apologize for this unforeseen change in plans. While we’re disappointed that circumstances prevent us from opening the building one final time, we’re pleased to welcome the community to the yard sale and provide an opportunity for people to take home a piece of Diman’s history.”
