The afternoon proved to be a resounding success, bringing families together for a festive day that truly showcased the heart of the community.
Organized by the Flint Neighborhood Association, the event transformed the street into a vibrant hub of celebration, featuring local vendors, delicious food, creative displays, and plenty of family-friendly activities.

Community Support, Leadership, and Gratitude
Events like these are a powerful reminder that a strong neighborhood is built by people who care, local businesses that give back, and a community that shows up for one another. The Flint Neighborhood Association expressed deep gratitude to everyone who volunteered, participated, donated, brought their children, or simply stopped by to say hello. Special appreciation went out to Tiago De Sousa Pimentel and Eric Rodrigues for their tireless help in making the event possible.
The gathering also welcomed several public figures and local leaders who took the time to connect with residents:
- City Councilor Andrew Raposo
- State Representative candidates Jesse St. Gelais (8th Bristol District) and Talos Ferris (7th Bristol District)
- Fall River School Committee Member Shanelle Stewart
- Mayor Coogan
As organizers noted, it means a great deal when those who serve or hope to serve the community take the time to show up.
