The community has risen together in a heartwarming display of solidarity, offering an overwhelming wave of love and encouragement to Lebanese Pita Pocket following a series of hateful calls directed at its locations in Fall River and North Dartmouth.
Rather than letting negativity prevail, local residents and patrons transformed the moment into an inspiring celebration of unity. The family behind the popular restaurant—known for serving delicious Middle Eastern favorites like shawarma, falafel, hummus, and mixed grill plates—expressed their profound gratitude for the incredible outpouring of warmth.
“From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!” the family shared in a social media message. “We honestly don’t have enough words to express how grateful we are for the overwhelming love, support, and kindness we’ve received from this community.”
The restaurant emphasized that the countless messages, phone calls, and visits served as a powerful reminder of the bonds that tie the region together.
“No matter our differences, kindness, respect, and standing together are what make a community strong,” the family continued. “We see you, we appreciate you, and we will never take your kindness for granted. We are proud to be part of this community, and we are even more grateful to have your support.”
The Dartmouth location has been a beloved neighborhood staple for decades, while the Fall River spot—located at 275 Martine Street—opened as an exciting expansion in 2025. This latest chapter highlights the very best of the local area: neighbors standing shoulder-to-shoulder to champion local business, diversity, and mutual respect.
