“Today I had the honor of presenting a citation to Rosemary Gill of Dartmouth, who I nominated as part of the 23rd Annual Commonwealth Heroines Class of 2026!
As President & CEO of the Zeiterion Theatre, Rosemary has spent nearly 20 years stewarding one of the South Coast’s most beloved cultural institutions – most recently leading its historic $37 million restoration. Her impact on the arts, and the community of Greater New Bedford is immeasurable.
Thank you to the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women for hosting this meaningful celebration year after year, and for all they do to advance women across the Commonwealth. It is an honor to help shine a light on the women who make our communities stronger every day.
