Fall River is getting a taste of authentic Polish cuisine this weekend as Blessed Trinity PNCC (Polish National Catholic Church) kicks off its annual Polish Food Fest.
The community-favorite event runs today from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and continues tomorrow, Saturday, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the parish hall located at 1340 Plymouth Ave, Fall River, MA
A Labor of Love and Tradition
Preparing for the festival is no small feat. Dedicated volunteers have spent the week rolling up their sleeves to ensure visitors have access to a wide variety of scratch-made, traditional favorites. Earlier in the week, the crew prepped comforting cabbage soup, followed by a massive baking session that yielded over 70 hand-rolled Kolachi (nut rolls) and an impressive 120 loaves of traditional Babka bread.
Visitors stopping by can look forward to a delicious menu featuring:
- The Polish Plate: A sampler featuring a taste of everything, including Potato & Cheese Pierogi, Cabbage Pierogi, Golabki (stuffed cabbage), and Kielbasa.
- Cabbage Soup
- Babka Breads & Kolachi Nut Rolls
- A variety of homemade goodies
Supporting the Community
Beyond serving up homestyle comfort food, the event serves a vital purpose. Proceeds from the Polish Food Fest directly support Blessed Trinity’s ongoing Fall River community outreach programs and support initiatives.
Organizers invite everyone in the local area to stop by, pick up some great food, and support a meaningful cause. For more information, you can visit the Blessed Trinity Church website or check out their official Blessed Trinity PNCC Facebook page
