A large police presence was reported Monday at Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital in Worcester as authorities continued searching for Karen Solomon, whose husband, Worcester police officer Kurt Solomon, was found murdered at their Wildwood Avenue home six days ago.
Sources are reporting that Karen Solomon’s body has been found behind Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital on May Street. The report has not yet been independently confirmed by police.
Worcester Police have announced that a press conference will be held at police headquarters at 4 p.m. Officials say they will provide a significant development in the Karen Solomon case.
Police announced Monday that a body found in a wooded area of Worcester is believed to be that of Karen Solomon, 58, the wife of Worcester police officer Kurt Solomon.
Officer Solomon was found dead inside his home last Tuesday.
Police also said a handgun was found in the area near the body. The identification of the remains will still need to be confirmed through forensic testing.
