
FALL RIVER, Mass. — Fall River firefighters responded to a working structure fire today at 743 Hicks Street, where crews encountered heavy smoke and flames coming from a three-story wood-frame residential building upon arrival.
Firefighters quickly launched an aggressive attack on the blaze, working to bring the fire under control before transitioning into overhaul operations. Crews remain on scene extinguishing stubborn hot spots that continue to flare up.
