Today marks the final day of operations for Discover Fairhaven, the brand of the Town of Fairhaven’s Office of Tourism, Community & Economic Development.
Since its inception, Discover Fairhaven has worked to celebrate and promote the town’s rich history, vibrant culture, thriving small businesses, and scenic waterfront while fostering economic development and community engagement.
Over the years, thousands of residents and visitors participated in Discover Fairhaven events and initiatives. Through community festivals, business promotions, grant opportunities, marketing campaigns, partnerships, and economic development efforts, the organization remained committed to a single mission: strengthening the Fairhaven community and bringing people together.
“I want to sincerely thank everyone who supported our events and programs—our vendors, volunteers, performers, community partners, local businesses, and, of course, our residents and visitors,” said Alyssa Botelho, Director of Discover Fairhaven. “It has been an incredible privilege to serve the Town of Fairhaven in this role. Your support, encouragement, and enthusiasm helped make Discover Fairhaven what it became.”
As Discover Fairhaven concludes its operations, its impact will continue to be reflected in the relationships built, the businesses supported, and the memories created throughout the community.
Fairhaven’s history, charm, and strong community spirit will endure for generations to come.
