Ayden Lopes, a 16-year-old from New Bedford, Massachusetts, has been reported missing, prompting a public appeal for information from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
According to NCMEC, Lopes was last seen on July 28 in New Bedford’s South End near Ruth Street. Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances of his disappearance.
Lopes is described as having black hair and brown eyes. His NCMEC case number is 2096669, and his NCIC number is M049006010. More information is available through his NCMEC missing child listing.
This is not the first time Lopes has been reported missing. Public records and earlier National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) listings indicate he ran away from the same area in March and again in April 2026. In both cases, he was later safely located.
