The local community and the Fall River Police Department extends its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and former colleagues of retired Fall River Police Officer Scott P. Paul, who passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 68.
A lifelong Fall River resident, Scott dedicated many years of his life to serving the community he called home. During his career with the Fall River Police Department, he proudly served as a K-9 Officer alongside his K-9 partner, Ziggy. He also served in Patrol, Special Operations, and the Vice and Intelligence Unit.
Those who dedicate their lives to serving Fall River become an important part of the history, traditions, and legacy of the Fall River Police Department. We are grateful for Scott’s years of dedicated service and for the lasting contribution he made to our Department and our community.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Scott’s family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of serving alongside him.
