NEW BEDFORD — The New Bedford Elections Commission has released essential updates regarding the upcoming November 3 General State and Congressional Elections, including critical polling location changes for two precincts, early voting schedules, and mail-in ballot deadlines.
South End Polling Location Changes
Following the recent closure of the Moose Home (Lodge), two polling sites in the South End have been relocated. The changes affect voters in Ward 5 Precinct C and Ward 6 Precinct F:
- Ward 5 Precinct C: Voters will now cast their ballots at St. Teresa of Calcutta School, located at 180 Orchard Street.
- Ward 6 Precinct F: Voters will now cast their ballots at The New Life Southcoast Church, located at 1331-1335 Cove Road.
These changes take effect immediately for the November 3 election. Polls across New Bedford will be open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, where residents will vote on a wide slate of local, state, and federal offices, including Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, Treasurer, Auditor, and members of Congress and the Massachusetts General Court.

Completed ballots can be hand-delivered to the office, dropped off in the white drop boxes outside City Hall on Elm Street, or sent via the Post Office.
