
The Lakeville, MA Fire Department responded to a residence on County Street just after 5:00 PM this evening for the report of an ATV crash involving two injured patients.
At the time of the incident, Ambulance 2 was completing the transport of a patient to St. Luke’s Hospital. With only three firefighters on duty, a recall of off duty personnel was initiated to provide an emergency response.
Ambulance 3 responded directly to the scene staffed by a firefighter paramedic, while Lakeville Car 1 responded from Berkley. Ambulance 2 also responded to the crash scene while returning from the earlier EMS call.
An adult male and an adult female were treated for injuries sustained in the crash and transported by Lakeville ambulances to St. Luke’s Hospital, our closest trauma center.
During the ATV incident, callback personnel and a Freetown Ambulance responded to an additional medical emergency at another County Street residence.
