Autumn has officially arrived on the SouthCoast, and with it comes one of the region’s most beloved traditions. The 45th Annual Apple Peach Festival is taking over the grounds of the Long Plain Museum this weekend, Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, 2026.
Running from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM both days, this free, family-friendly event celebrates local agricultural harvests, community pride, and everything sweet. Visitors can expect to indulge in legendary fresh-baked peach cobbler, crisp local apples, homemade treats, and refreshing peach lemonade while exploring goods from an array of local craft vendors.
The festival kicks into high gear on Sunday morning with the annual parade, which departs from Pope Park at 10:00 AM and marches its way to the festival grounds, arriving at roughly 11:00 AM.

Note: Organizers kindly ask that you leave your pets at home, as dogs, bikes, and other pets are strictly prohibited on the festival grounds.
