The Fall River community mourns the loss of Mark “Espo” Esposito, 57, who passed away peacefully at Charlton Memorial Hospital on August 22, 2026, following a brief illness. Born on November 4, 1968, in New Haven, Connecticut, Mark will be remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit, love of sports, and, most of all, his deep devotion to his family.
A longtime entrepreneur, Mark owned and operated numerous businesses throughout the greater Fall River area. He was also an avid sports lover who took great joy in following and celebrating the games he loved.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Ann Esposito; his sons, Zachary Sharples, Ryan Sharples, and Trevor Lambert; and his cherished mother, Theresa (St. Laurent) Esposito. He leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Brent Sharples, Andra Sharples, and Mya Lambert, who brought tremendous joy to his life.
He is also survived by his siblings, Robert Esposito, Josephine Esposito, MaryAnn Gaudreau Esposito, and Diana Esposito, along with many nieces and nephews who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
Mark was the beloved son of the late Peter Esposito.
His family and friends will gather privately for a celebration of life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mark’s honor to the National Kidney Foundation.
