Swansea Veterans Services was honored to help recognize Korean War Veteran Joe Valiquette during a special ceremony celebrating his service to our nation.
Working alongside the Somerset Office of Veterans’ Services, we were privileged to present Joe with the military service medals he never received. Surrounded by his daughters, family, and loved ones, it was a meaningful opportunity to ensure his dedicated service was properly recognized.
We were also proud to present Joe with an official citation on behalf of State Representative Justin Thurber. In addition, American Legion Post #303 of Swansea generously welcomed Joe by presenting him with a membership to their post.
A heartfelt thank you to Clifton Assisted Living for graciously hosting this memorable event and for providing refreshments, cupcakes, and wonderful live entertainment that made the celebration even more special.
