Last week, several of our officers participated in the Hero Down Foundation’s Introduction to Competition & Performance Shooting program at the Rod & Gun Club of New Bedford. We are proud to be the first police department in Massachusetts to take part in this specialized training.
The program focused on competition and performance shooting, providing our officers with opportunities to sharpen their marksmanship, strengthen decision-making under pressure, and enhance their overall preparedness.
The Hero Down Foundation supports first responders, veterans, and their families through its mission of relief, readiness, and community while offering valuable training opportunities for law enforcement.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Hero Down Foundation, the Rod & Gun Club of New Bedford, and the Massachusetts Police Shooting Team for making this outstanding training opportunity possible.
