Congratulations to Braeden of Troop 21, Somerset, MA, who completed his Eagle Scout service project yesterday by organizing, inventorying, acquiring storage materials for, and cleaning the National Destroyer Museum Archives aboard the historic battleship.
Braeden carefully worked through hundreds of artifacts and pieces of literature spanning generations of naval history—from 4-Piper Destroyers to Guided Missile Fast Frigates—helping preserve these important collections for future visitors and researchers.
A lifelong history enthusiast, Braeden also shared a photo of himself visiting the museum several years ago, making this project an especially meaningful full-circle moment.
