There seems to be some confusion regarding the future of Yesteryear Cyclery, so here’s the official word:
YESTERYEAR CYCLERY IS NOT GOING OUT OF BUSINESS!
Kim is retiring and selling the building and property, but Yesteryear Cyclery will continue on. The name, the brand and the services will live on.
Adam Iacaponi, Kim’s manager for the past 20 years, will be continuing the business on a smaller scale at a new location in Fairhaven. The business will remain YESTERYEAR CYCLERY and will continue to operate with the same values, service, and personal touch that customers have come to know and love.
Kim could not be more confident in passing the torch to Adam. After 20 years working together, Adam has proven to be the right person to carry on the Yesteryear legacy.
In the meantime, Yesteryear Cyclery is selling its current inventory at ridiculously low prices to help clear the building for its new owner.
The new Yesteryear Cyclery will reopen in early spring 2027 at an undisclosed location in Fairhaven, with more than enough current inventory to meet customers’ future cycling needs.
So, to be absolutely clear:
Kim is retiring. The building and property are being sold. But Yesteryear Cyclery is NOT going out of business!
The Yesteryear name, legacy, and commitment to its customers will continue with Adam at the helm.
Stay tuned to their Facebook page for updates on the new location and reopening.
YESTERYEAR CYCLERY WILL REMAIN IN BUSINESS! 🚲
