There’s exciting news coming out of Fall River—The Nite Owl Diner has officially passed all of its inspections and is fully licensed to open! While the doors won’t swing wide open just yet, that’s all part of the plan.
The team behind the Nite Owl is taking a thoughtful approach, easing into operations to perfect every pizza, learn the kitchen, and make sure everything runs smoothly before a full grand opening. Their goal is simple: deliver the best possible experience from day one. You may have seen a recent Facebook post highlighting the work of the Fall River Garden Club!
Over the next few weeks, they’ll begin offering limited batches of fresh pizzas, with a small daily menu available on a first-come, first-served basis. Menu selections will be announced the day before, giving everyone a preview of what’s cooking. As things progress, sandwiches, ravioli, and additional favorites will be added.
For now, service will be:

📱 Credit/debit payments, phone orders, online ordering, DoorDash, and Uber Eats will be introduced gradually as the operation grows.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there.
The iconic Nite Owl sign will soon shine once again, and the community is invited to celebrate! On Saturday, August 23, from 4:00–8:00 p.m., the Flint Neighborhood Association and The Nite Owl Diner are partnering to host a neighborhood block party to mark the relighting of the famous Owl.
The event will also feature a Back-to-School giveaway, providing backpacks and school supplies to children in the Flint neighborhood. Organizers are currently looking for vendors, volunteers, and sponsors to help make the celebration a success.
The Nite Owl’s pizza oven will be firing up fresh slices from 4:00–7:30 p.m., before the evening culminates with the official lighting of the Owl at 8:00 p.m.
