On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, members of the department’s Community Action & Suppression Team (C.A.S.T.) conducted a motor vehicle stop following a brief narcotics investigation.
The vehicle was operated by Kimarni Bennett, 42. As a result of the investigation, officers determined that Bennett was in possession of approximately 80 grams of crack cocaine.
Bennett was placed under arrest and charged with:

All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
