After an incredible three-year run transforming a storage room into a beloved local staple, Christopher’s is officially turning the page. In an announcement shared to their community, owners Christopher and Nate revealed that they are closing their 1816 South Main Street location in Fall River on November 26th.
While regular patrons and local foodies have known for some time that the café has been quietly on the market, the official confirmation of the closure marks the end of an era for a spot known for its scratch-made pastries, gourmet sandwiches, and warm community vibe.
A Journey of Growth and Gratitude
Reflecting on their journey, the team shared a heartfelt goodbye to the space that started it all:
“It was fun building a cafe and a kitchen out of a storage room but we all have to grow up. I’m heading to exactly where I need to be! To all of those humans who have been with us through all this, you already know how much we appreciate you…”
From viral cookie drops to decadent creations like their flaky croissants stuffed with Nutella, whipped cream, bananas, and a crème brûlée banana slice, Christopher’s proved that big culinary things can come from unexpected spaces.
Where Are They Heading Next?
As the doors in Fall River prepare to close for good on November 26th, the big question on everyone’s mind is: Where is Christopher’s opening next?
The owners have teased that an announcement is coming soon regarding their new location and concept. Given their knack for creative culinary mashups—most recently drawing inspiration from spots like Falmouth’s Maison Villette to craft scratch-baguette Jambon Beurre sandwiches—their next chapter is bound to be an exciting evolution.
