Boston police are asking for the public’s help in locating 84-year-old James Clarke, who was reported missing Sunday after last being seen the previous afternoon.
Clarke, of Roxbury, was last seen leaving his home on Hawthorne Street at approximately 1 p.m. Saturday.
He is described as a Black man, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds, with short gray hair and a beard. Police said Clarke has dementia. He was last seen wearing a black hat and a blue flannel shirt.
According to investigators, Clarke is known to frequent Nubian Square, Ruggles Station, Stop & Shop stores, and various MBTA bus routes and stops.
Anyone with information about Clarke’s whereabouts is urged to call 911 or contact Boston Police detectives at 617-343-2309.
