Owen Coyne, a 17-year-old football co-captain at Marblehead High School, tragically passed away on October 2nd following a sudden brain hemorrhage caused by an underlying abnormality. A gifted student and three-sport athlete who had committed to Williams College, Owen made the selfless decision to become an organ donor before his passing—saving the lives of five people.
Our hearts are heavy as we navigate the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Owen Coyne—a beloved son to Angela and Brian, an adored big brother to Grady, Landon, and Ella, and a cherished friend and teammate.
Owen was a gifted student and athlete who was preparing to continue his academic and football career at Williams College. Beyond his many talents, Owen was defined by his extraordinary kindness, generosity, and humility. He brought warmth and goodness into every room he entered, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.
To support Angela, Brian, and their family through this tragic loss, friends have established a fund to help cover unexpected expenses and support the Owen P. Coyne Scholarship Fund, honoring his legacy for years to come.
If you would like to offer tangible support, please consider donating or sharing the fundraiser. Most importantly, please keep the Coyne and Paradise families in your thoughts and prayers. https://www.gofundme.com/f/honoring-owens-memory
