FALL RIVER, MA — Emergency personnel are currently operating at the scene of a massive, working 3rd-alarm structure fire in the south end of the city near the intersection of Rodman and South Main streets (308–318 S. Main St.). The blaze is located in a three-story brick commercial building.
On-Scene & Emergency Response:
- Fall River Fire & Police Departments are actively battling the blaze and securing the surrounding area.
- Fall River EMS Medic 4 and Squad 11 are on-scene providing dedicated standby support. EMS automatically responds to all working fires to perform immediate medical evaluations and ensure rapid transport for any civilians or firefighters in need.
Mutual Aid Coverage:
Due to the scale of the 3rd alarm, multiple surrounding communities are providing mutual aid. Westport Engine 2 and other regional departments are deploying into Fall River—including covering the Flint Fire Station—to protect the rest of the city while local crews fight the main fire.
