House of Rage is heading into its fifth year, and we’re looking for a Shop Lead / Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operations when the owners aren’t on the floor. Run the Shop. Lead the Team. Help House of Rage Grow!
This is a hands-on, part-time leadership role for someone who’s proactive, dependable, organized, confident, and naturally asks, “What’s next?” instead of waiting to be told.
What You’ll Do
- Run shifts independently and confidently
- Lead, support, and hold team members accountable
- Keep the shop clean, stocked, organized, and ready for customers
- Monitor inventory and handle restocking
- Prepare rooms and check upcoming reservations
- Answer phones and assist customers professionally
- Use computers and learn our online reservation system
- Handle opening, closing, and payment procedures
- Troubleshoot issues and make reasonable decisions independently
- Identify what needs to be done—and take care of it
Who We’re Looking For

If the shop is quiet, you won’t be sitting around waiting for instructions. You’ll find something to clean, organize, stock, prep, check, or improve.
You should be someone who:
- Takes initiative without constant direction
- Can confidently lead a shift without the owners present
- Is organized and detail-oriented
- Communicates well with customers and coworkers
- Can multitask and stay calm when things get busy
- Is comfortable learning new technology and systems
- Can delegate, troubleshoot, and make decisions
- Is willing to jump in wherever needed

Pay & Opportunity
Starting at $18/hour
Part-time | Opportunity for additional hours
There’s room for raises, increased responsibility, and additional earning opportunities through upselling and sales incentives. You’ll also have the opportunity to grow alongside an established, unique small business.
We cannot guarantee full-time hours, so this role is best suited for someone looking for consistent part-time work with room to grow.
Schedule
We’re open:
- Wednesday: 4PM–8PM
- Thursday: 12PM–9PM
- Friday: 11AM–10PM
- Saturday: 11AM–10PM
- Sunday: 12PM–5PM
Evening and weekend availability is important.
