
New Bedford Police are investigating after two people arrived at St. Luke’s Hospital with stab wounds around 3 a.m. Monday.
According to police, one victim suffered multiple stab wounds to the chest and thigh, while the second victim sustained a stab wound to the abdomen. Both were privately transported to the hospital and are expected to make a full recovery.
Investigators believe the stabbings occurred near the intersection of Brock Avenue and Coral Street in New Bedford’s South End.
Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to come forward, noting that tips from the community could be critical to the investigation.
